COLUMBIA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – On Thursday, two new state agency leaders chosen by Governor Henry McMaster were confirmed by the South Carolina Senate.

Jake Gadsden, Jr., was confirmed as the new director for the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services (SCDPPPS). McMaster appointed Gadsden to the position in January.

I look forward to the positive impact his leadership will have on our state.”

The state senate also confirmed Eunice Medina as the next director of the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. McMaster appointed Medina in November 2024.
